What counts as a page view
Full page loads, plus the text files agents fetch to read your site: robots.txt, llms.txt, sitemaps and markdown pages. Images, scripts, styles, link prefetches and calls to your own APIs don't count. Agents and crawlers count the same as people.
The count is per calendar month in UTC, summed across every site on the account.
Your billing account
A billing account belongs to one person, the one who pays, and covers the sites they add. Sites someone joins through a team invite stay on the inviter's account.
Billing (in the dashboard, next to Site settings) shows the plan, this month's page views against it, the sites it covers, and what Punchline connected to results this month. Only the account's owner can change the plan; other owners of a site see who manages it.
Upgrading, changing and cancelling
Online payment isn't switched on yet. Until it is, email hey@opsscale.co to change plans, and Billing says so too. Once it's on, it works like this:
- Upgrade from Billing: pick a plan and monthly or yearly, then pay with a card through Stripe. The new plan applies within a minute of the payment.
- Change plan, card or billing email, or download invoices with Manage billing, which opens Stripe's billing portal. Plan changes apply straight away, prorated.
- Cancel in the same place. It takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for; then the account moves to Free.
If a payment fails, Billing says so and Stripe retries. Your plan stays in place while it does; update the card in Manage billing.
Over your limit
Nothing stops. Tracking, reports, alerts and integrations all carry on. The account owner gets an email at 80% and at 100% of the month's page views, once each a month, suggesting the plan that fits. There are no overage charges.
When a plan doesn't include something
- In the dashboard, the page shows what the feature does and which plan has it.
- In settings, connecting it is refused with the plan it needs.
- Through the API and MCP, requests get
403plan_upgrade_required, naming the plan. The API and MCP need Growth;/v1/accountsand/v1/handoffsneed Business. - After a downgrade, CRM, ad and warehouse syncs stop at their next daily run, and their connections are kept, so moving back up picks up where they left off. Nothing is deleted.
Team size
Each plan includes a number of people per site, counting open invites: 2 on Free, 10 on Growth, 50 on Business. There's no per-seat charge.
Outcomes (beta)
Billing also shows, for the current month, what Punchline connected to results across your sites: conversions by people an AI assistant sent, handoff links that converted, companies whose agents reached a strong signal, and the survey's estimate of AI-assisted conversions. These aren't billed. We show them because we're exploring pricing on outcomes instead of traffic; if that's how you'd rather pay, tell us at hey@opsscale.co.
