Integrations
HubSpot and Salesforce
Connect your CRM to see the pipeline and revenue behind the companies whose agents research you, and, if you like, to write account signals back as notes or tasks. Set it up in Site settings → CRM.
What Punchline reads and writes
- Reads, daily: deals (HubSpot) or opportunities (Salesforce) changed since the last sync, the first time going back 180 days. For each: amount, currency (HubSpot), stage, won or closed, created and close dates, and the domain of its company (HubSpot) or account website (Salesforce). Never contacts, deal names or notes.
- Writes, only if you turn it on: once a day, for companies whose agents reached a strong signal over the last 7 days, a note on the HubSpot company or a completed task on the Salesforce account, with the summary, what they read and a link to the account in Punchline. Each company at most once a week. Companies that aren't in your CRM are skipped.
- Handoffs, with the same setting: when someone at a company you know opens a handoff link an agent passed on (a quote, a demo hold, a shared page), a note or task on that company says so, once per handoff: "An OpenAI agent built a quote ($118) on your site for someone. A person at acme.com opened it on October 14 and completed a goal." The company comes from a work email domain they gave you or an IP lookup that day; visitors with Global Privacy Control are never linked, so they never appear.
Deals show up on Accounts: open pipeline and won revenue at the companies that researched you, and each company's deals on its page.
HubSpot
- In HubSpot: Settings → Integrations → Private apps → Create a private app.
- Scopes: read access to deals and companies. To write signals back, also the scope HubSpot lists for creating notes.
- Create it, copy the access token (
pat-…) and paste it in Site settings. Punchline checks it before saving.
Salesforce
- In Salesforce: Setup → App Manager → New Connected App. Enable OAuth settings and the Client Credentials Flow, with scopes for API access.
- In the app's policies, set a run-as user who can read opportunities and accounts (and create tasks, to write signals back).
- Paste your My Domain (like
acme.my.salesforce.com) and the app's consumer key and secret. Punchline checks them before saving.
Credentials
Tokens and secrets are encrypted before they're stored and never shown again. Disconnecting deletes them and the deals that came from that CRM.
